Payflexi is a safe, simple, and convenient payment option that lets you buy now, pay later on various merchants stores online.
Payflexi is available to all people who fit the following criteria:
  • Live in Nigeria
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a stable source of income
  • Be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement
  • Have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile number
  • Have a bank credit card

To sign up on

  1. Create a PayFlexi account in just a few steps by clicking here
  2. Verify your mobile number and email address
  3. Most recent three months bank statement of account
  4. Upload any verification document such as Driver's License, International Password, National ID, etc.
  5. Add a valid credit or debit card to be used for repayment
PayFlexi charges an interest rate of between 3.5 - 10% per month on all credit purchases. There are no hidden fees. All charges are shown at the point of checkout.
Your first payment is due at the time of checkout. During checkout, you will be told exactly how much will be charged, which can be as little as 25% of the total order cost.
Yes. PayFlexi carries out credit check to determine the credit worthiness of our customers!
Yes. PayFlexi report every credit it processes to credit bureaus as instructed by federal authorities, also to ensure our customers conduct themselves in a responsible and credit worthy manner

We've made checkout fast and easy! Simply select PayFlexi at checkout or through our payment pages.

Our system will then look at the order and make a decision on whether or not we’re able to approve you. If approved, you’ll see a breakdown of how much is due upfront, as well as when future payments will be due and the amount due. Proceed through the rest of the process, and you’re good to go!

This process typically takes less than two minutes.

You'll receive confirmation through your email, and you can always log in to your PayFlexi dashboard to check on the payment amounts and due dates.

If you have questions about your order after checkout, like changing a quantity or when your item will ship, please reach out to the merchant directly.

While we strive to offer all applications a payment plan through PayFlexi, we aren’t able to approve every order. If you aren’t approved, we notify you instantly - and then you can checkout as normal using a credit card or debit card, or whatever other payment method the merchant supports.

Our system assesses each order individually, and takes into account multiple factors. The main factors are if you have enough funds available (we like to see at least 25% of the total price available), how many orders you have outstanding with us and the overall amount outstanding (paying off old orders can help), and the overall amount of the order you’re trying to place (lowering the amount can often help).

You can sign up as a Merchant here. Once completed, we will activate your account. In many cases, this can be completed in less than an hour.

PayFlexi currently support these ecommerce platforms, Shopify, Wocommerce, Magento. We have plans to add more platforms soon.

While we are working to bring seemless integration across major ecommerce platforms, you can get started with PayFlexi by creating a Payment Page which you can share with your customer. This is useful for those without a website

We also have a public API that will allow non-platform users to implement PayFlexi, as well. The integration possibilities are endless with our API.

You get paid upfront in full, less the merchant fee. PayFlexi takes on the credit and fraud risk.


You can easily change your mobile number. However, you will be asked to verify your new mobile number.
In case you wish to discontinue using our services, ensure that you have cleared all your dues. At present we cannot delete your account for security and compliance reasons, however we will de-activate it upon receiving the request. A de-activated account can be re-activated later if you change your mind. For any de-activation or re-activation request, please contact us at
Once you login to your dashboard, you will basically see your approved credit limit.
A Zero credit limit means you cannot use PayFlexi at this time. robably due to a failure in one of the multiple checks that we do during account creation. These checks are not solely based on your creditworthiness and a zero limit does not reflect our assessment of your creditworthiness. We review limits from time to time and would intimate you in case your limit is revised.


A debit/credit card is required at time of sign-up, as the customer’s payment method. This ensures easy future repayments when a purchase is made using Payflexi.
If you have not used your card for online transaction before, and depending on your card type, you may need to contact your bank to enable your debit/ATM card for online transactions prior to completing setup on Payflexi.
Yes. You can do this by logging into your account on our website on the Payflexi. If you change your card details while you have any Payflexi instalments outstanding, the next instalment(s) due will be taken when you register your new card with us even if this is earlier than when the instalment is otherwise due. This ensures the credit or debit card details have been validated. Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Services department, who can update the credit or debit card details held for you.
